OS4X 3 Release 2020-12-10 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated. Current changes are:

• OS4X Enterprise:
  • ⊕ New: New transfer protocol „none“ added: such partners can only be configured via plugins.
  • ⊕ New: Downloading jobs with a single file in the admin web interface now delivers this file (instead of a ZIP archive with this file).
• OS4X Core:
  • ↑ Fixed: openSSL v1.1.1i to fix a critical CRL validation bug (see CVE-2020-1971).
  • ↑ Fixed: Minimization of the memory consumption during the TLS handshake.
  • ⊕ New: Configurable support for fast process generation (if you are using SELinux: don’t use it!), for fast encoding and decoding of OFTP2 files.
  • ⊕ New: Configurable deactivation of the CRL validation when checking the signature of files.
• OS4X administrative interface:
  • ⊕ New: Protocols contain the TLS version and cipher used for polling (incoming and outgoing).

As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
