OS4X 3 Release 2024-10-01 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.
Current changes are:
- OS4X Core:
- ⊕ New: The enqueueing of files can now also be done in a performance-friendly manner using the partner’s numeric primary key value.
- ↑ Optimized: All time information from certificates is displayed in the web GUI based on the local time zone of the web browser instead of GMT (including summer/winter time shift).
- ↑ Optimized: Compatibility with PHP 8.3 improved, while the system requirements were increased to PHP 7.4 (EOL 11/2022).
- OS4X Enterprise:
- ↑ Optimized: The “SCP upload” plugin underwent several improvements:
- Target file names are transmitted escaped to preserve special characters in file names.
- Progress information in percent and the current transmission speed (from which the remaining duration is calculated) are displayed in the Send Queue, as well as in OS4X Webaccess.
- ⊕ New: The OS4X Job Sharing feature can run a definable plugin group (fault-tolerant) after a shared job has expired!
- ↑ Optimized: The “SCP upload” plugin underwent several improvements:
- Administratives Webinterface:
- ↑ Optimized: The OS4X directory scanner dry run (to check what a run would do) now has a convenient reload button for updating results.
- ↑ Optimized: The information about when and which version was updated is now displayed in addition to the date and time.
- ↑ Optimized: If the email address was included in the subject of an OFTP2 certificate application but not in the subject alternative name, this information is taken from there.
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
