OS4X 3 Release 2024-06-18 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.

• OS4X Core:
  • ⊕ New: When ordering an OFTP2 certificate via the c-works CA, the certificate is issued directly (if the installation is known, the maintenance option is active and any previous certificate is not valid for longer than 30 days). This saves manual effort via email and file upload and works immediately. Certificates that are not issued must be checked manually by c-works and can be downloaded directly from the CA in the admin panel.
  • ⊕ Improved: Behavior of the send queue to resume aborted file transmissions is prevented: the process ID is stored in a shared memory segment protected by a semaphore and checked before being sent again.
• Administrative web interface:
  • ⊕ Improved: The homepage of the web server (with the links to OS4Xadmin, Webaccess, phpMyAdmin, Webmin and the online documentation) has been shortened by the entries Webmin and phpMyAdmin (which are not supported any more).
  • ⊕ Improved: The OFTP2 parameter sheet now better supports multiple spaces in the HTML view.

As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
