OS4X Release 2025-01-07 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.

• OS4X Core:
  • ⊕ New: An automatic process deletes all CRL URL entries that are no longer needed on a daily basis. This minimizes the process overhead of TLS connections as well as communication with the proxy.
  • ↑ Optimized: The event log is now more tolerant of non-UTF8 characters in standard output. Characters that cannot be saved in the database are now truncated to still enable logging.
  • ↑ Optimized: Odette’s old certificate chain, which has been replaced by the new CA chain since December, will be added manually again in this update because some partners forgot to update to the new certificate.
  • ↑ Optimized: EERPs are no longer protected by a semaphore in bulk mode.
  • ↑ Optimized: Automatic deactivation of unreachable BMW CRL URLs (starting with the URL „http://sslcrl.bmwgroup.net/“).
  • ↑ Optimized: The receive queue is now automatically cleaned up cyclically, process entries that no longer exist are recognized and the associated entry is deleted.
• OS4X Enterprise:
  • ⊕ New: You can configure whether new send jobs should be addressed to “yourself” by default.
• Administratives Webinterface:
  • ↑ Fixed: The expiry date of your own TLS certificate is displayed correctly again in the “Possible configuration problems” area.
  • ↑ Optimized: The configuration daemon panel is available with an AS2-only license.
• ExtUpload:
  • ↑ Optimized: Timeout behavior optimized for the upload request in order to be able to successfully transport large files in proxy environments.

As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
