Release 2021-02-08

OS4X 3 Release 2021-02-08 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated. Current changes are:

  • OS4X Enterprise:
    • ⊕ New: EDI-Converter IDoc -> VDA 4938 for Porsche.
    • ⊕ New: Auto-ENGDAT addresscode functionality configurable per location (instead of partner).
    • ⊕ New: Where possible, the file size of the download is communicated to the browser so that it can offer a better download representation.
    • ⊕ New: Job XML is also saved in the database in the event of a job being canceled.
    • ⊕ New: Bulky single file download of a job (instead of the complete job via ZIP archive) in modern HTML5 web browsers (sorry, no IE support; but Edge).
    • ↑ Fixed: Session management of Webaccess and ExtUpload for PHP installations that never invoke cleanup.
    • ↑ Fixed: EDI queue (for asynchronous conversion results) now updates the last access time.
    • ↑ Fixed: Handling of special characters in enqueueing.
    • ↑ Fixed: Pixel-precise alignment of the „in transfer“ icon in the status column of the job list in Webaccess.
  • OS4X AS2:
    • ⊕ New: Use of the „empty file name“ value for requests that obviously did not have the AS2 header set in the HTTP request, but in the body (incorrect behavior of other AS2 clients).
  • OS4X administrative web interface:
    • ⊕ New: When creating new partners, the protocol can now be selected when it is created (saves creating a blank and changing it afterwards).
    • ⊕ New: The runtimes of the daemons are now displayed: In the „Daemon traffic light“ at the top left (as a tooltip for the daemon) and under „Programs“ -> „Daemons“: the time since the last start or the last stop.
    • ⊕ New: Certificate information now represents the so-called „purpose“ of a certificate (important for AS2).
    • ↑ Fixed: Single file download does not return „(true)“ as file name in Internet Explorer.
    • ↑ Improved: License high water mark event can now be set up to 100% (instead of 99%).
    • ↑ Improved: Directory scanner mandatory fields are now clearly marked with a red frame.
    • ↑ Improved: Elimination of PHP notices, fewer logs.

As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
