OS4X Release 2025-03-27 can be downloaded online from the website www.os4x.com/downloads, the OS4Xvirtual images and the Docker containers are updated.
Current changes are:
- OS4X Core:
- ↑ Improved: TLS ciphers that use a so-called null cipher for key exchange are no longer permitted.
- ↑ Improved: TLS versions are now correctly logged for inbound and outbound polls (previously, non-TLS1.0 connections could be incorrectly logged as TLS1.0).
- ↑ Improved: The receive process is now set to RFC compliance by default (although the partner settings still apply). This helps to better display incoming connection errors.
- OS4X OFTP2 SmartProxy:
- ↑ Improved: The logging of an incorrect configuration is now made much more visible (in the log level „ERROR“ instead of „DEBUG“).
- OS4X Enterprise:
- ↑ Improved: The EERP plugin overwrites the XML with the initial XML values if desired.
- ↑ Improved: The variable $JOBFILES_ARCHIVE_HTML in text templates lists the archive contents with better readability in Microsoft Outlook.
- ↑ Improved: The UTF-8 BOM header checking plugin can now also check non-XML files and add the header if necessary (instead of aborting the job).
As the latest version of OS4X available, we recommend to update to this version as fast as possible.
